My name is Karina Van Brabant, the person behind KV Miniatures, located just five minutes northeast of Morinville, Alberta, Canada.

Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and miniature horses have held a special place in my heart since I was nine years old. My passion for this breed goes beyond showing. It’s about developing a partnership with each horse, understanding their individual personalities, and helping them reach their full potential through thoughtful, consistent training.

At KV Miniatures, I believe every horse has something unique to offer. I take pride in adapting my training to each horse as an individual, building confidence, trust, and a solid foundation along the way. Driving training is a particular passion of mine, and I love showcasing the intelligence, athleticism, and versatility of miniature horses.

KV Miniatures offers training, driving training, and clipping services, with a focus on developing well-rounded horses and promoting everything this incredible breed has to offer. As a small breeding program, my goal is to be intentional about the horses I produce, prioritizing quality, correct conformation, temperament, and versatility rather than quantity. While breeding is part of the future vision for KV Miniatures, my primary focus is on training, developing horses, and continuing to learn alongside them.

My goal is to help showcase the miniature horse as more than just a small horse, highlighting their ability to excel in a variety of disciplines. Whether in the show ring, in harness, or working at home, I want every horse that comes through KV Miniatures to have the opportunity to grow, succeed, and represent the breed proudly.

KV Miniatures — built on a passion for the breed, a commitment to quality, and a love for developing great horses.
